What a good one! The bring a friend to the Sunday session last week was an outstanding success; I am hoping that this, as one of a number of initiatives we are currently running, will increase our membership. The other activities for the next few months are a visit by 24 Brownies from the Madeley Pack, same from the Donnington Beavers, a Sports Unlimited Grant of £1500 (thanks to Ray Sheldon, Elise’s Dad) and a possible tie in with New College.

I have a meeting with Dan Mackriel from Telford Leisure Services tomorrow (Thursday) to discuss the possibility of additional hall time at the Phoenix or Stirchley Centres. Has anyone any comments regarding possible sessions at Stirchley or other vanues?

No issues with any T&W leisure centre. Sammy used to do gymnastics there (Stirchley) and we never had too many problems. I do remember that they were reluctant to give up the big hall for gymnastics as they wanted to keep it for 5-a-side. That was some time ago though when Eric was in charge. It's more important to get the day and time right. Our preference is Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday after 5pm

No - I'm not an insomniac.  I just noticed the timing on my last post, it say's 02:35am.  I actually posed at 06:35am - although I do tend to be a bit of an early bird!

Bizarre - my second post appeared before my first post!  Perhaps I need to go back to bed.

Agreed - the session was a great success.  It was really good to see so many children enjoying themselves.  There were lots of smiley faces and hopefully many of them will be coming back for more.

Extra sessions at any of the local leisure centres would be welcomed.  I won't express any preference for days of the week because we all have different schedules to fit in around.  The first thing is to find a suitable venue and make sure we have coaches available.

If possible, we need to try get a time which will allow our younger members to attend - easier said than done though and I'm sure the club will do it's best.

Great news about the Brownies & Beavers visits - we are starting to re-kindle interest in trampolining and hopefully we will continue to grow this very successful and friendly club.

Meeting with Dan was a bit of a non-starter. We can only have Stirchley Sportshall Saturdays 1 to 4 pm or Sundays 6 to 8 pm and unfortunately they only have 2 Trampolines which limits the numbers and would put the cost up to £5.60 per session. Nothing at the Phoenix. Not all is lost though, I have some alternatives to investigate...... Watch this space!
